Read this before showing up for the exam.
DPS will make your company manager reschedule if done incorrectly!

Important Info

Your company manager must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the exam time. Failure to appear at the required time will result in cancellation, and you will be required to reschedule with the DPS Private Security Bureau. Scheduled applicants must bring a copy of their invitation letter as well as their driver's license or state ID to the exam. They must also know their application or company license number. All Private Security Bureau correspondence will include this number.

Upon Arrival

When you arrive at 108 Denson, look for a blue sign stating “Vehicle Training Inspector Parking”. This is the only area you may park. The area is located to your left when looking at the front of the building.

After you park, please wait in your vehicle until a DPS employee arrives to walk you to the exam room. Do not park in designated parking marked reserved or within the fenced in area.

If you need to pay for your exam you may do so by walking to the far back of the building, passing through a gate with the sign “108 B” on the top right. Continue walking around the back of the building. Enter the first door to your right. The door is marked with “108 B”. Once inside, make payment (exact cash, cashier’s check, money order, or licensed company check) and return to your vehicle. Payments will not be accepted after 9:30am.
